One Health

We support countries, local and regional organisations, and international agencies to reduce health risks at the human-animal-environment interface and strengthen development outcomes.

We do this through cross-disciplinary strategic and technical advisory services, applied research, and training and capacity development. We have experience in zoonotic disease prevention, control and surveillance; surveillance and response systems for emerging, epidemic, and pandemic-prone diseases and antimicrobial resistance; animal disease risk assessment; biosecurity; applied animal health and agricultural economics; climate change and One Health; and sustainable and inclusive livestock production.

We actively work to strengthen practical approaches to One Health, and support One Health operationalisation and implementation at regional, national, subnational and community levels.
