Dr Mitha Putri

Mitha is a learning designer with a passion for inclusive and transformative education. She is skilled at supporting academics and teachers plan, implement, and reflect pedagogical innovation.
With a particular interest in advancing climate literacy and action, she has facilitated place-based education through community partnerships. Mitha has more than five years of teaching and researching experience in Indonesian initial teacher education programs. She has worked with international experts in ecopedagogy, plant biosecurity, and social innovation to connect university students and wider audiences with Balinese ways of knowing nature and place.
Mitha holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Victoria University of Australia. Her research lies at the intersections of creative pedagogies, environmental learning, intercultural research, and teacher professional development. She obtained her Master of Arts in English Language Teaching from State University of Malang (Indonesia) and Bachelor of Education from Ganesha University of Education (Indonesia).
