Research enquiries

I have a question about:

  • Applying for a graduate research degree or scholarship

For information on applying for graduate research degrees or scholarships in the Faculty, visit MDHS Study and follow the links.

  • Faculty support for research administration

The Research Support & Evaluation team provides support to academic and professional staff across the Faculty in the areas of: Research Strategy & Governance, Research Institute Partnerships, Research Information, Research Training and Research Collaboration & Funding. Working closely with the Associate Deans for Research and Research Training, the team provides advice and support to the Dean and Heads of Schools on the research strategy of the Faculty, with a focus on fostering excellence and impact in research. Staff in the Research Development team work closely with staff in Chancellery and University Services (Academic Services, Business Intelligence and Reporting, and Research, Innovation and Commercialisation) to provide integrated support for our researchers.

    Email: mdhs-research@unimelb.edu.au

If you are a current staff member, more information can be found on the MDHS intranet.

  • Internal closing dates when applying for a grant/fellowship which would be administered by the University of Melbourne

The MDHS Research Support & Evaluation team can provide initial guidance on University of Melbourne submission requirements and closing dates.
