In recognition of Professor Margaret Kelaher’s outstanding contributions to research, The University of Melbourne has established the Centre for Health Policy Highest Priorities Fund, which you can now donate to in Margaret’s memory.
The principal focus of donated funds will go to the establishment of PhD student scholarship top-up awards – ‘The Professor Margaret Kelaher PhD Scholarship Top-Up Award’ – to be awarded to Doctoral students focusing their research in the area of health equity, something Margaret championed throughout her career.
Allison Milner Early Career Research Fellowship
The Allison Milner Early Career Research Fellowship in Public Health has been established by the University of Melbourne and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences to honour the legacy of Associate Professor Allison Milner, who passed away in August 2019.
The fellowship will support an early-career researcher currently working in the area of public health and health equity. An area in which Allison was deeply passionate.
