The Neuroepidemiology Unit has been awarded a Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia (MSRA) 3-year project grant ($249,301). PI Steve Simpson-Yap and CIA Jeanette Reece and the team will work with collaborators from Oxford Brookes University, Imperial College London and The UK MS Register. The investigation will enable a systematic determination of the nature of dietary intakes which predict health outcomes in a UK cohort of over 3000 people with MS over 10 years. These results will both directly inform people living with MS and medical practitioners of the relationships between diet and a range of clinical outcome measures in MS.
