Strengthening Mortality Measurement and Chronic Disease Prevention in Australia: Leveraging Big Datasets for Improved Evidence

Description of PhD Project

This project focuses on enhancing the measurement of mortality and the prevention of chronic diseases in Australia by leveraging large-scale datasets.

The research aims to improve the accuracy and timeliness of mortality data, enabling more effective public health interventions. By integrating and analyzing diverse data sources, including health records, population surveys, and big data analytics, this project seeks to generate robust evidence to inform policy and practice. The ultimate goal is to contribute to reducing the burden of chronic diseases in Australia through data-driven approaches that support better decision-making in public health.
