Philcy Philip

Philcy Philip is a dentist working at the Bangalore Baptist Hospital, in Karnataka, India, with a special interest in public health dentistry. Philcy has been involved with initiating and organising dental outreach programs to the marginalised and disadvantaged communities in the outskirts of the city of Bangalore. The outreach programs involve dental visits to rural government schools and slums, where besides focusing on oral health awareness, free oral health screening and primary care is provided. He is also involved in collaborative research projects that explore oral health disease prevention and health promotion among the marginalised.

Philcy 's research aims to understand barriers that prevent oral care and evaluate strategies that reduce oral health morbidity in children with disability.
