Vinh Nguyen is a public health researcher with over 15 years of extensive experience in research, project management, and evaluation. Her expertise includes mixed-methods and implementation research, focusing on critical issues such as health services utilisation, social determinants of health, women’s health, digital health, disability, and gender-based violence. Vinh is passionate about addressing health inequities and improving health outcomes for diverse populations, particularly individuals with disabilities, those living with HIV, and ethnic minorities, through innovative research and creative interventions.
Vinh has worked with prominent international and local NGOs, including PATH, Family Health International (FHI360), Population Services International (PSI), and the Centre for Creative Initiative in Health and Population (CCIHP). As Project Manager at PATH, she played a pivotal role in developing and implementing a national HIV/AIDS case surveillance system and other digital health initiatives designed to enhance the monitoring of HIV treatment and care in Vietnam.
Vinh employs participatory approaches and meaningful stakeholder engagement to foster effective collaboration with government agencies, NGOs, community organisations, health workers, and patients. She is dedicated to translating research findings into actionable strategies and enhancing data utilisation in health program planning and implementation, driving meaningful change in public health initiatives.
