Research Focus: Behaviour change; Gender Inclusion; Migrant and Refugee Health

Lauren has extensive experience in public health research and evaluation, using mixed-methods to explore social and environmental influences on community wellbeing.

She has research experience across a broad range of topics, including nutrition and oral health in early childhood, resilience and wellbeing in children and young people, responses to gender-based violence.

Lauren is currently working on Settling well in regional Australia, a multi-university, ARC funded linkage project, exploring the enablers and barriers for people with a refugee background to settle in regional Australia.
