rapid Assistive Technology Assessment: Training and implementation

Project Details

This project will support WHO Assistive Technology (AT) team in the global data collection, using WHO developed household survey tool –rapid Assistive Technology Assessment (rATA), on population need of AT from countries in multiple WHO regions to present a global situation on AT access.

There is a consensus from the global AT stakeholders on better understanding the population need and unmet need of AT in countries. The understanding will be the backbone of the Global Report on Assistive Technology (GReAT)and will be of great value for the countries to take actions to address the unmet need through national policies and programmes development

Objectives

To develop a rATA enumerator training package for master training and in-country enumerator training in collaboration with the rATA technical committee
To support the in-country implementation of rATA survey.
