'What Works for Depression' and 'What Works for Anxiety'

Project Details

This project, funded by Beyondblue, involved the development of consumer guides on ‘What Works for Depression’ and ‘What Works for Anxiety’. Each guide was underpinned by rigorous reviews of the evidence and was written at an 8th grade reading level. The strength of evidence was summarised by a rating of number of ‘thumbs up’ (or ‘thumbs down’ for non-effective interventions). The first editions were published in 2009-2010 and the second editions in 2013. Beyond Blue has commissioned third editions which are due for release in 2019.
