Distributional cost-effectiveness analysis

Project Details

Our project focuses on the implementation of distributional cost-effectiveness analysis (DCEA), a framework that goes beyond traditional cost-effectiveness analysis by explicitly considering the distributional impacts of healthcare interventions. We aim to assess how healthcare policies and interventions affect different population subgroups, particularly those with varying economic and social backgrounds. By incorporating equity considerations into cost-effectiveness assessments, we can better understand the potential impact of healthcare decisions on health disparities and the overall well-being of society. This research will provide valuable insights for policymakers and healthcare stakeholders to make more informed and equitable decisions regarding the allocation of healthcare resources.
