Research Overview
The Demography and Ageing Unit comprises a group of demographers and social scientists who focus on the implications of ageing for individuals, families, the economy and population more broadly. Our research interests cover both macro (population ageing) and micro (individual ageing) perspectives on ageing, with a view to generating an evidence base to inform better policy and practice. The research stream is primarily focused on Australia and Asia, with specific expertise in:
