Fontan Education Day in Auckland

Health Economics unit staff member Dr.Kim Dalziel recently contributed findings to a patient education day in Auckland for patients with congenital heart disease who underwent Fontan operation.

Key findings presented include the hospital cost of Fontan patients from age 0 to 18 years and projected survival estimates. This work has been contributed through ongoing program of research with the Australia and New Zealand Fontan Registry which involves Health Economics Unit staff members Dr. Li Huang and Chris Schilling.
