Biography

Paul is a Research Fellow in the Health Economics and Simulation Modelling for Chronic Disease Unit. He is completing a PhD in Economics at the Australian National University, and has a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Sydney. His PhD focuses on the role of mental health as a pathway for intergenerational disadvantage. Prior to this, he was working as an economist with the Australian Government Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. He has expertise in health econometrics, applied microeconomics, quasi-experimental design, panel data methods, and the analysis of large administrative databases.
