Setting Australian research priorities for child mental health clinical trials

Project Details

Growing Minds Australia (GMA) is Australia’s first Clinical Trials Network in child and youth mental health. It aims to improve clinical trials on interventions to support child and youth mental health. To inform the function of Growing Minds Australia, there is a need to identify which clinical trials are the highest priority for future research. This study aims to identify the Australian research priorities for clinical trials in child mental health (0-12 years).

The project will use a multi-phased approach including a scoping review of existing clinical trials focused on child mental health interventions in Australia, a Delphi consensus study across 3 rounds, and a resource allocation exercise to further refine the priorities. Results will aid GMA’s review, prioritisation, and endorsement of future clinical trials in child mental health.
