Project Details

The University of Melbourne has been commissioned to conduct an evaluation of the postvention support offered to children, young people and families by Feel the Magic. The University of Melbourne evaluation team comprises:

This evaluation is focused on the period 2024-2026. The evaluation of the pilot phase in 2021 found promising findings; however, it indicated that further studies with larger samples and longitudinal design were needed to confirm the findings of the evaluation of the pilot project. Following the pilot phase, Feel the Magic has expanded the program, including routine data collection from participants. The current evaluation will build on the collaboration and experience of the pilot phase. It will be building on the methodology as designed for the pilot. However, this evaluation will involve a larger dataset, and include a longitudinal follow-up.
