Evaluation of Every life
Project Details
Every life: the Queensland Suicide Prevention Plan 2019-2029 provides an action plan for whole-of-government action to reduce the burden and impact of suicide in Queensland. Every life is designed to be implemented in three phases over its 10-year lifespan (Phase One: 2019-2022, Phase Two: 2023-2026 and Phase Three: 2027-2029) with a review and refresh process conducted at end of each phase and whereby subsequent phases build on the learnings and achievements of prior phases.
In 2024, the Queensland Mental Health Commission contracted a team led by the University of Melbourne and including collaborators at the University of Queensland to:
- Develop and implement a Queensland suicide prevention monitoring and outcomes framework (2024 – 2025);
- Develop an evaluation framework for Every life including a co-design component with people with lived experience of suicide (2024); and
- Conduct process, implementation, and outcome evaluations of Phases One, Two and Three of Every life (2024-2029).
