Optimising the PCV Schedule for Immunisation Policy Making in Fiji
Project Details
There is an urgent need to identify and evaluate strategies to reduce the cost and complexity of infant pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) programs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) while maintaining effectiveness against pneumococcal transmission and disease. This project aims to assess the cost-effectiveness and budget impact of adopting a 1+1 schedule compared to the current 3+0 schedule. Evidence from the study will provide critical information for policymakers in Fiji and other LMICs regarding the decision-making of adopting reduced dose schedules
