Qualitative evaluation of the Every Week Counts national program to reduce early and preterm birth in Australia
Project Details

The Every Week Counts National Preterm Birth Prevention Collaborative comprises partnerships with Women’s Healthcare Australasia (WHA), Safer Care Victoria (SCV) and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) along with a range of state quality improvement agencies. The National Collaborative aims to reduce the rate of preterm and early term birth by 20% within participating maternity services across Australia, by March 2024. A qualitative evaluation will assess the impact of the program from the perspective of participating teams from the 49 maternity hospital services across Australia.
