Are There Any Challenges in Valuing Y-5l Arising From the Descriptive System? A Multi-Country Study

Project Details

This project is the first study to explore methods for generating a value set for EQ-5D-Y-5L and explores the feasibility of eliciting preferences from adolescent members of the general public. The project brings together leading researchers in the child health outcome field from China, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands and Australia and collected discrete choice data from the five contries. This research has already had a direct impact: findings from the study was prepared to relevant EuroQol working groups and Executive Committee, which complemented the dossier described the development, psychometric properties of, and business case for the Y-5L, as evidence for progressing Y-5L from experimental to approved status.
