Equity and Mental Health
Research Overview

Our group focuses on the co-design, implementation, and evaluation of population mental health interventions with the aim of improving outcomes, prevention, early intervention, access to care, and equity in mental health. Lived-experience and stakeholder engagement inform everything we do. Our research projects are designed to achieve knowledge translation for policy impact and community benefit, they are steered by Community and Expert Advisory Boards, and they involve partnerships with industry, health services, policy makers, and other researchers. Across all of our work, we aim to role-model equity through encouraging collaborative decision making and diverse representation among our team, advisory boards, partnerships, and participants.
