Professor Graham Colditz, MD, DrPH

I will review our journey from identifying risk factors for breast cancer to models of risk prediction and image-based risk from screening mammograms that can more accurately classify level of risk for individual women. We must align screening and prevention strategies with individual risk to maximize the population benefits and reduce the burden of breast cancer.

Graham Colditz is the Niess-Gain Professor at Washington University School of Medicine and Associate Director for prevention and control at Siteman Cancer Center. He is highly cited for his research and has received numerous national awards for his contributions to cancer prevention. He is also the Co-Founder of Prognosia Inc, with Shu (Joy) Jiang.
