Taking doxycycline after sex (post exposure prophylaxis; DoxyPEP) can reduce the incidence of bacterial STIs by around 70% but taking an antibiotic can have effects on antimicrobial resistance (AMR).

What impact does DoxyPEP on AMR in STIs and commensals?

What do community and clinicians think about its use?

This session is targeted at staff and students with an interest in sexual health, infectious disease, and antimicrobial resistance.
