Climate resilience is a future-focused solutions framework that encapsulates both climate adaptation and mitigation activities.  When considering health systems, climate-resilience fills the gap between a current narrow focus on adaptation and short-term impacts of climate change, to a more productive focus on how health systems must develop and transform to preserve the interconnected health of human and natural systems.
