Turning the gaze to the discipline of public health, this thesis focuses on public health research, evaluation, and evidence-based practice methodologies in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and social settings. From a critical Indigenous frame, it reviews and evaluates past and contemporary public health practice in Australia, with a particular consideration to its broader context and ethics.
