Housing, Health and Water

Minum Barreng was recently invited to share a reflection in celebration of World Water Week (23-27 August 2026) by the International Coalition for Trachoma Control (ICTC).

‘Why cross-ministry collaboration on housing, health and water must continue in Australia’ has now been published by ICTC. The news article emphasises the importance of cross ministry/portfolio/department policy, funding and activity in Australia's efforts to eliminate trachoma but most importantly for ongoing efforts to sustain elimination and support progress for other health hygiene conditions.

The article was written by Emma Stanford and Mitchell Anjou from Minum Barreng with Tim Jesudason from ICTC.
