The VACSAL Senior Football & Netball Carnival
The VACSAL Senior Football & Netball Carnival is a statewide celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and pride. This Carnival was held on 12, 13 & 14 October in Ballarat, Victoria. The aim of the event is to bring together the Victorian Aboriginal community and promote a healthy lifestyle. Over 40 umpires at the VACSAL State-wide Aboriginal Football and Netball Carnival promoted the ‘Check Today See Tomorrow’ campaign and the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with diabetes to have a YEARLY eye check.
