Dr Ross L Jones joins the Indigenous Studies Unit, Onemda as Senior Research Fellow. A historian of medicine, science and education, Ross was Lead Editor and Senior Research Fellow on the Indigenous History of the University of Melbourne Project, which produced the acclaimed two-volume Dhoombak Goobgoowana: a History of Indigenous Australia and University of Melbourne (2024-25). Ross has held research and honorary positions at the University of Melbourne, the University of Sydney and La Trobe University, and is a widely published author, public historian and media contributor.
