About the ACTSQ
The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Complex Trauma Questionnaire (ACTSQ) [linked here] is a culturally validated enquiry tool to support social and emotional wellbeing workers explore the potential impact of complex post-traumatic stress disorder on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The current ACTSQ is tailored specifically for parents and a description of the ACTSQ development is detailed here. Further validation, including assessment with the International Trauma Questionnaire is currently underway.
Accessing the ACTSQ
If you are interested in using the ACTSQ we ask you to complete the following steps to ensure it is used appropriately and safely:
- Email rbt-project@unimelb.edu.au indicating your interest in using the ACTSQ.
- We will then send you an email outlining the requirements to (1) undertake free online training and send us your certificate of completion, and [2] sign a license agreement with conditions of use.
- We would appreciate any feedback about the experience of using the ACTSQ and utility in research, including any associated research publications.
