Passing of Dr Lowitja O'Donoghue AC CBE DSG
It is with deep sadness that we pass on the news that Dr Lowitja O’Donoghue AC CBE DSG has passed away peacefully surrounded by close family.
Dr O’Donoghue has generously, courageously and graciously committed her entire life to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. She was a great leader and leaves a legacy that will always be honoured. Her families statement is linked here.
