New staff to Onemda

Erin Joy Napanangka Alexander, Research Assistant
Erin Joy Napanangka Alexander belongs to Warlpiri and Warumungu Country and has just commenced her role with the Indigenous Health Equity Unit, Onemda. Erin is a mental health nurse by discipline and has worked clinically across mainstream, ACCHO and NGO mental health with a focus on SEWB.​​​​​​​ She has just completed a contract at Gellung Warl/First Peoples Assembly of Victoria and is excited to join Onemda.

Dr Nusrat Khan, Research Fellow
Dr. Nusrat Khan, a medical doctor, global health researcher, and mixed-methods epidemiologist with over 15 years of experience in public health research and practice. She has joined the Indigenous Health Equity Unit, Onemda. Her research interests span the epidemiology of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), mental health and climate change, with a particular focus on addressing health inequities across diverse populations in the UK, Latin America, and South Asia.
