JR-014025 Communications Strategist with Onemda: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health and Wellbeing

1 Full-time, 12 months fixed-term contract, UOM7

Under the guidance of the Centre Director and Centre Manager, the Onemda Communications Strategist will play a key role in leading the development and implementation of Onemda’s Communication plan including development and delivery of smart, effective and sustainable engagement, marketing and communication solutions that serve to strengthen Onemda’s profile both internally and externally.  The role will including leading specific communication projects and initiatives, communication of research and program outputs, developing social media, web content, and event support. The incumbent will also support communications plans for Onemda’s Units (Indigenous Health Equity and Indigenous Studies Unit) as needed.

This position requires a keen and dynamic individual with the ability to work both autonomously and as a team player. The incumbent will have a desire to contribute to an exciting program of work at the forefront of Indigenous higher education aimed at improving Indigenous health.
