Welcome Amir Haddadfar
Amir has recently joined the M-VAC team as a research assistant, contributing to health technology assessments through evidence synthesis and policy-focused research. He is also a PhD student with the Child Health Economics Unit within Melbourne Health Economics. His thesis explores the economic impact of developmental and epileptic encephalopathies (DEEs), with a focus on healthcare costs, family preferences, and quality-of-life outcomes.
Amir holds a BSc in Nursing and an MSc in Health Economics. His master’s research examined nurses’ job preferences for working in underserved areas.
