Abstract: Reproductive health outcomes for Afghan women can be influenced by many factors before and after settlement as refugees. There is limited evidence around the availability and accessibility of culturally appropriate reproductive information and services in Victoria. Little is known about women’s knowledge, preferences, and skills in making reproductive health decisions and in navigating services. Healthcare professionals, settlement services and many stakeholders play a key role, yet their perspectives are not well documented. This research aims to identify gaps in evidence and practice, and offer recommendations, to improve outcomes for women.
