We are pleased to announce that Cyan Yingying Wang was awarded First Prize for her poster presentation at the HTAsiaLink Conference 2025, held in Singapore from 19–22 August.

Her poster featured innovative research applying artificial intelligence (AI) to support the manual review of policy documents, offering a promising approach to enhancing the efficiency and rigour of health policy analysis.

In addition to receiving the poster award, Cyan was also invited to speak at a pre-conference session, where she presented our team’s distributional cost-effectiveness analysis (DCEA) of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines looking at differential vaccination schedules for Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. She further contributed to a panel discussion on equity and the use of equity-informative evidence in policymaking, highlighting the importance of inclusive and equity-informed approaches in health technology assessment.

We congratulate Cyan on this well-deserved recognition and her valuable contributions to the field!
