Dr Christine Mpundu-Kaambwa at the inaugural EuroQol Australasia Meeting

Dr Christine Mpundu-Kaambwa attended the inaugural EuroQol Australasia Meeting, held in Sydney on 23–24 July 2026. The meeting brought together researchers from Australia, New Zealand and the wider EuroQol community to discuss developments in measuring and valuing health-related quality of life.

Senior Research Fellow Dr Christine Mpundu-Kaambwa shared two research projects focused on measuring health in young children. The first explored how responses from a questionnaire designed for infants and toddlers, the EQ-TIPS-5L, could be statistically translated into predicted EQ-5D-Y-5L health states. The second examined whether pictorial enhancements could help children aged 5–7 years report their own health using the EQ-5D-Y.

The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share research, exchange ideas and strengthen regional collaborations.
