The presentation highlighted best practices, challenges encountered, and the impact of these training initiatives on improving skills and knowledge in relevant fields.
Mr. Fulgence Niyibitegeka presented on “Using Modeling to Inform Global Vaccine Pricing Policy”, discussing the importance of model-based approaches to ensure equitable and sustainable vaccine pricing across different regions.
Ms. Marie-Anne Boujaoude gave a lightening talk on “What role does equity play in Australia’s HTA process? A review of PBAC recommendations on vaccines and proposed case study on Distributional Cost-Effectiveness Analysis for pneumococcal conjugate vaccine”, highlighting key considerations for incorporating equity into health technology assessments and the implications for vaccine recommendations in Australia.
Ms. Yingying (Cyan) Wang gave a lightening talk on “Investigating the Uncertainty of Epidemiological and Economic Parameters in Dynamic Model-Based Economic Evaluation”, offering insights into how different approaches can help account for uncertainties and improve the robustness of economic evaluations.
During the meeting breaks, we enjoyed cycling, exploring nearby beaches, hiking to the lighthouse, tasting the local cuisine.
