Welcoming Visiting Scholar Arjun Bhaduri
“I really enjoyed the 5 weeks that I spent at the Melbourne Health Economics Unit as a visiting scholar. It was a useful research and life experience. I continued working on my PhD thesis and presented an overview of my research on the inclusion of informal carers' quality of life in economic evaluation, in a seminar. I also had the opportunity to analyse longitudinal data from the HILDA survey (a large Australian household survey). In the analysis, I found that caregiving is associated with poorer health status and self care behaviours of informal carers.”
