Ashwini De Silva has published her second PhD paper in PLOS ONE, titled “A qualitative study to understand public views on the relative value of health gains for children and young people in Australia compared to adults.”

The study explores how adolescents and adults perceive age-related differences in the value of health gains. These qualitative findings highlight the need for more nuanced, age-sensitive approaches to person trade-off (PTO) methods and provide important insights for informing health resource allocation.
