✨ Last month, the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health and the Centre for Health Equity at the University of Melbourne proudly hosted “Unlocking Health Equity through Technology: Creating Local and Global Impact.”

The event brought together a vibrant group of researchers from across the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, with valued international guests Dr Sabine Van der Veer and Dr Laura Brown (University of Manchester), and Dr Nina Bickell (USA).

Through interactive sessions and idea generation activities, participants explored how digital health technologies can be leveraged to drive equity—locally and globally. We’re excited by the many emerging collaborations and grant ideas sparked on the day! 🌐💡

This event marks a key milestone in our commitment to advancing the Advancing Health 2030 strategy through inclusive, cross-disciplinary, and international partnerships.
