Announcing 2024 CHE and CCP Incubator Grant Recipients

The Centre for Health Equity (CHE) together with the Consumer and Community Collaboration network on engaging for equity (CCP) are delighted to announce successful grants through the Seed Incubator Scheme. The primary purpose of the scheme is to enhance capacity and foster new strategic initiatives, collaborations, and leadership in health equity and community/consumer engagement at the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH). The scheme will support initiatives that prioritise the integration of health equity principles and methodologies into the endeavours of Melbourne School of Population and Global Health.

Dr Kim Jones and team for 'Engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community to Develop Culturally Safe Trauma-Informed Care Training for the Early Learning and Care Workforce in Regional Victoria'.

Dr Shazra Abbas and team for 'Enhancing Equitable Cervical Cancer Elimination by 2035: Insider Perspectives and Proposed Solutions to address low HPV Screening Uptake among Muslim Immigrants to Australia'.
