The incidence of bladder cancer varies significantly by sex and region, influenced by differences in exposure to risk factors and genetics. Research on dietary factors' effects on bladder cancer risk has been inconsistent, possibly due to methodological limitations. My doctoral research focuses on estimating the effects of various dietary factors on bladder cancer risk through a pooled analysis of prospective cohort data from the National Cancer Institute Cohort Consortium, considering effect modifications by sex, age, smoking status, and region.
