This PhD explores early markers of small airway disease, a precursor to COPD, using data from the Tasmanian Longitudinal Health Study. It examines lung function trajectories, structural and functional measures, and early-life risk factors to develop a model aimed at enabling early detection and targeted prevention of COPD.
