National suicide prevention research and campaign project

Project Details

This project involved a series of systematic reviews and studies (a Delphi study, an online questionnaire study, a focus group study and a nationally representative population-based survey) which were designed to inform the content of a suicide prevention media campaign. The results spawned the 2018 #YouCanTalk campaign, created by Beyond Blue and seven other NGOs, which ultimately had more than 18 million views on social media. The impact of this work was acknowledged by my team and I winning the MSPGH Excellence in Knowledge Transfer Award for 2018.
