Reducing self-harm, suicide and early mortality in marginalised young people

Project Details

Rates of mental disorders, self-harm, and suicide are all increasing, yet not enough is currently known to develop effective prevention strategies. This project will generate evidence on which we can base decisions regarding the best treatment options and the young people who will most benefit from them, including vulnerable populations at increased risk – such as young people in contact with the criminal justice system and those presenting to emergency departments following self-harm.
