Outcomes Framework for the Victorian Disability Plan

Project Details

Our team was awarded the tender to develop measurable indicators for the Outcomes Framework of the Victorian State Disability Plan: Absolutely everyone 2017-2020. The indicators will assist the government to find out how well the they are doing in meeting the aims of the State Disability Plan.

The indicators cover a range of different domains of life and about one hundred different measures have been proposed to cover areas such as community participation, employment, safety and discrimination. We have used data from ABS surveys and other sources to estimate the measures. Where possible, we have compared outcomes between people with and without disability. This is the first time such a comprehensive range of indicators and measures have been developed for any level of government.

The report to Cabinet will be launched by the Minister for Disability Services in 2018.
