Welcome to Mackenzie Bourke

Mackenzie Bourke has recently joined the Health Economics Unit (Centre For Health Policy) as a full-time research assistant. He is currently working with Dr Tessa Peasgood to investigate impact of mode of administration on time trade-off interviews and developing the Introduction to Health Services Research subject for MPH and MacHSR students with Dr Mary White and Prof Kim Dalziel.

Mac completed his Master of Health Economics from Deakin University in 2021. He also has a Master of Physiotherapy Practice and a Bachelor of Health Science from La Trobe University. He has experience conducting systematic reviews, analysing health economic, epidemiological and clinical data, using statistical modelling techniques and conducting cost-effectiveness analysis. He has a passion for high-impact intervention that can operate at scale.
