Investigating the feasibility, acceptability and validity of the EQ-HWB to measure the quality of life of carers of children experiencing adversity.

Dr Cate Bailey, together with Professor Kim Dalziel, Professor Nancy Devlin Dr Tessa Peasgood from the Health Economics Unit, and in collaboration with colleagues from MCRI and Monash University has been awarded an EuroQoL grant to examine the feasibility, acceptability and validity of the EuroQol Health and Wellbeing measure (EQ-HWB) for use in a hard-to-reach population of carers of children experiencing adversity.

The findings from this study will be used to inform the use of the EQ-HWB in caregivers of young children and advance the measure towards finalisation for general use to measure quality of life in social care populations.
