Congratulations to Zoe Aitken and Lauren Krnjacki

Two of our researchers won awards at the Society for Social Medicine and Population Health Conference, Cork, 4-6 September 2019.

Congratulations to Zoe Aitken who won a prize for her study on disability-related inequalities in health and well-being and barriers to participation faced by people with disabilities.

Congratulations also to Lauren Krnjacki for winning the rapid fire presentation on Violence against people with disabilities: variations by impairment type, gender and financial hardship.

Zoe Aitken and Lauren Krnjacki are  PhD students and Research Fellows in the Disability and Health Unit in the Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and the Centre of Research Excellence in Disability and Health (CRE-DH).
